A transition from the Conventional to Modern – Hearing Aids!

-Decorative hearing aids
-Functional hearing aids

Hearing aids usually consist of a case, an ear mould and a cord. It includes an amplifier component with a large size. With technology this size has been minimised, however for patients suffering from profound hearing impairment must make use of a higher amplification device.

There are behind the ear instruments too. These are concealed and are hidden behind your ears. Its electrical components are located externally and are more durable.

Just imagine how difficult would it be to lead a life with ears impaired. You don’t understand what the other person speaks and it would be highly difficult to communicate too. Thanks to modern technology and engineers who have designed user friendly devices for hearing impaired. There are new clips attached for hearing impaired. These clips are attached to the device on one end and the other end will be attached to the patient’s clothes.

Even before you opt for any device for your ears, it is advisable you go in for a counselling. You may take up tone audiometry test and go in for counselling so that you know which device to use for your ears. If it is a profound hearing problem then you may require a device with high amplification.
